I joined this church just recently for its Progressive views, friendly and diverse congregation, and commitment to work in the community and the world. They also have a stated commitment to be Open and Affirming to the LGBTQ community, which is lacking in too many churches and is important to me. Like most churches now, they're working to rebuild after the pandemic, but there is a lot of energy and enthusiasm behind what's happening, and I have no doubt this church will grow! It's a great place to come with all your questions, grow your faith, and make friends easily. If you're looking for a Progressive, loving congregation with intelligent preaching, check out Church on the Hill!

The Christian witness is being lived out in fullness there. Members are friendly, kind, loving, helpful, sincere . . . I could go on. The worship services are extremely well planned so that every movement adds to the proclamation of the Good News. When we say that everyone is welcome - come as you are. We really mean it. I've been to many churches in this region and this is the only one who truly welcomes everyone. Not just welcome, embrace!

Church on the Hill is wonderful! Everyone is welcoming and kind and you are part of the family from the moment you walk in. The service inspires you to be a better person and make a positive difference in our world. The church actively supports both world and local charities that truly make a difference. I encourage you to join us for service on a Sunday and experience this one of kind hidden gem in Boca Raton!

For 35 years I have been a happy and active member at Church on the Hill. I have made so many friends here and the support we have for each other is very special. We also care about our world and local Community by supporting various charities and volunteering time and talents. Public events are a sincere welcome to anyone exploring their faith. Sunday morning sermons, worship, and visiting with my church family get my week started right. I personally invite others to come and experience this wonderful Church!

I love Church On The Hill because they are like extended family. I’m involved in music, as well as other events. We have some wonderfully talented people here. We have always used a combination of traditional and modern music. The Pandemic put a damper on the choir and bell choir, but I believe we will emerge with even more to offer!

Church on the Hill is an answer to many prayers! We felt welcome right away; we are inspired by Pastor Tom’s messages every week: and the church’s acceptance and kindness makes it a diamond in the rough.

I love the congregation of this church. It is a multi-generational, diverse, inclusive community of people who wish to be good humans and good Christians. It is as simple as that. Taking from the Bible the good and learning to go out and be a better person each week....that is what I enjoy about attending Sunday worship service. The congregation IS the church. We may not agree on everything, all the time, but we want everyone to have a voice and feel safe and connected and loved and cared for. We are growing and would love to have more people come and see what we are about.

I love that this church mixes traditional UCC services with progressive views in this modern time. They are Open and Affirming to ALL people..and they mean it. Regardless of race, gender or gender identity they are happy to have you and want everyone to feel at home and participate and have their voices heard. They are a caring congregation. I always leave with something to think about the rest of the week...how I can do something different or better...which to me translates to creating a safer, more caring world. It works for me...maybe it will work for others too!!
