Leadership
Jakob Lazarus
Fr. Jakob-Lazarus graduated with a degree in religious studies and philosophy from Stonehill College, a masters degree in theology from Providence College and also attended the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, California. Fr. Jakob received a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts School of Law and became a member of the Massachusetts bar. Fr. Jakob also possesses an MBA from Bryant University. Since 2009, Fr. Jakob has acted as the pastor of the parish and is currently involved in work with the Religious Coalition for Marriage Equality and the Rhode Island State Council of Churches. He has a particular interest in assisting former convicts and those marginalized by poverty. Fr. Jakob is currently working as a professor of Business Ethics at Johnson & Wales University.
