Leadership
Eric Sass
Pastor
Pastor Eric Sass, with his wife, Kelly, have faithfully served the Church of the Good Shepherd for almost 2 years now. His sermons are solidly biblical and inspiring. And his commitment to the community and to the congregation has inspired a rapid growth and fellowship.
After concluding a 13-year senior pastorate at a church near Hillsdale, Michigan, he entered the Doctor of Ministry program at Grace Theological Seminary in the fall of 2020.
Sass is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa. He began his pastorate at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Winona Lake, Indiana starting September 6th, 2020.

My wife, Shirley and I visited as guests of Stan & Nancy Scantlin on July 27, 2025. We were made to feel very welcome. We enjoyed tge Bible study class a great deal, and the worship service was very encouraging. Pastor Eric Sass brought an excellent Bible-centered sermon that spoke to our hearts.

This is a very caring church with a feeling of being home among a loving family. I have really felt at home here since I started coming in July. They have traditional services with hymns and piano music. Terry White is an excellent pianist and worship leader and really helps to set the tone. Pastor Eric Sass is new to the pulpit, but vibrant and encouraging in his messages. The church is also very mindful of covid guidelines. When we can not meet - services are recorded. I am so thankful to God for this little church.
