Church In The Wind

Dear in Christ, Greetings in the sweet name of Christ Jesus. I am very happy to write you this letter as I pray and hope you will answer my writing for holy bibles for myself and the Christian lepers that are with me. I want to brief you little about myself. Beloved I was born to family of a Chief priest- a well- known idol worshiping family, and married to the son of another such family. We had four children, and lived idol-worshiping life happily. Then everything changed. My husband came back from the city where he had gone to buy goats for our annual festival. He came back to informme of his encounter with a man of God that told him about Jesus Christ it was the first time I was hearing of that name. He also told me the man GOD said we should accept Jesus Christ as our only Lord and personal Savior unit two months later, April 25, when my husband encountered this man of GOD again and he accompany my husband back to the village, that he now taught us what it means to accept Christ as our lord and Savior. On the 10th of March, 2020 we were baptized and started our home fellowship. It was then the trouble started. The village abducted my husband and sacrificed him to their gods, and that same night they came to my house in the middle of the night and set out house ablaze, and I lost my grand mother in that process. It was only a miracle that I managed to escape that night with mychildren, but by the time the villagers got to know about why we were running from our village, they too planned to use us or rituals, and they believed we are accursed have compassion on us and let us escape before the day we were to be used as sacrifices to their gods. We eventually settled into Leprosy Center where we were received with open arms. back here I was afraid to preach the gospel again as I was afraid of death. But on October 27, 2020 the LORD spoke to me in my dream that I should not be afraid of death, for death is the gateway to eternity in Heaven for we the believers that he preserved me and allowed all those persecutions to happen to me so I can serve him by the next day when I woke up I realize for years I have been with orphans, non of them have ever heard of the gospel, and none of them knew anything about out Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So I started to preach the gospel of Jesus to the initially they refuse to listen as they believed nobody loved or care about them But after much preaching and praying for six months, I was able to covert some souls here in this community . Today I am happy to say we are 42 in number, and we now have a Christian Home Fellowship Church we have serving and doing the work of God diligently even with all the hardship and untold neglect from members of the larger society. We don’t even havea church building we worship in a open feild ,but our major problem is Holy Bible as only 5 members of the church have New Testament Bible and was from a man of God sometimes ago. We are hereby appealing to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you please have compassion on us. My members are poor farmer who cannot afford to buy bibles, and bibles are very expensive here in Nigeria. We have been longing to have bible. They are 24 dedicated Christian who are deeply in need of bible for their spiritul growth .Please if possible send us (35) copies K.J.V Holy Bibles .I will also personally request 2 K.J.V Study Holy Bible for my personal use. and one for my assistace pastor We all jointly writing you to assist us with Giant print K.J.V Bible,as we pray earnestly that you grant us our request and making our dream of having bibles a reality.
