Who We Are

Christ the Lord, Clearwater is a neighborhood Lutheran church serving the northern Clearwater, Dunedin and surrounding communities. A member of WELS.

Christ the Lord, Clearwater, has been a part of the the beautiful Clearwater / Dunedin community since the late 1900s.

Originally started as a Christian mission to Pinellas County, our congregation is now beginning its second generation as a friendly, Bible-teaching, neighborhood church with the goal of sharing the Good News of Jesus on the Gulf Coast.

By connecting the warm and friendly setting of a neighborhood church together with helpful and clear Bible teaching, Christ the Lord is here to offer you encouragement and guidance in your walk with God.

Our congregation is a community supporter of Dunedin Cares Food Pantry. We partner with like-minded churches both locally and nationally as part of W.E.L.S.

Our Services

What are services like?
We offer 2 weekend worship services. Saturday church is a small, casual setting, often led by guitar or piano and lasting 45 minutes. Sunday church has a slightly more formal feel, with traditional hymns, and aspects of liturgical worship. A study group meets one hour before Sunday church.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you're new to and interested in exploring the Christian worldview, consider our Bible 101 course! Or, attend a worship event as an observer and simply watch and listen to watch your neighbors are up to. Since our goal is to share good news in an inspire way that people can find clear helpful, we hope to provide everyone with some blessing they can take home with them.
