Christ Redeemer Church was born in October of 2011. We have a deliberately simplistic vision that drives everything we do...we love Jesus and want to do what He said: spread his gospel so that people believe in him and become his disciples. We are a people that want to live deliberately for the glory of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are simple and straightforward. We read the Bible out loud together, sing songs, pray, preach, and pray. Any age would feel welcome. We are a small to medium sized congregation in a small but clean and functional church building. We preach expository sermons through book sof the Bible and seek to be deliberately Christ-centered and clear on the content of the Gospel

What is the community like?
Newark is a mid-size city connected to Heath and Granville. A mostly blue collar area with many people also commuting to Columbus (about 35 miles west) for work each day.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You will feel welcomed by our people and you will hear the truth about Jesus Christ. We do not proclaim ourselves or trust in our own goodness to save us. We are a people in desperate need of Jesus Christ.
