Christ Lutheran has been serving the Lord and the Roanoke, VA community since 1916. We strive to be a grace filled community of faith that welcomes people who desire to serve the Lord Jesus Christ through Worship, Praise and Ministry. We share God's love in many ways through the vast ministries we support and encourage all members to be active in loving as God first loved us. Come and join with us and share the Joy of the Lord.

Our Services

What are services like?
Our Morning Worship is Liturgical and filled with beautiful music and uplifting preaching. We Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 am and there is a staffed nursery at both services. Our Evening Worship (New Song) is at 5:30 pm and is a more casual worship experience with contemporary Christian Music led by a Praise Band. Communion (the Lord's Supper) is offered at all of our Worship services.

What is the community like?
We are a diverse group of Christians who try to live that best we can but do not always do so. We are loved and forgiven by the God of love who came to us in Jesus.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome no matter where you are in your life. God loves you and invites you to come to him. You are welcome at Christ Lutheran.
