About Us

Episcopalian; Protestant; mainstream; Eucharist; Christian;

We love our church! And we hope that you will, too!

We come from many different religious backgrounds -- some of us are "cradle Episcopalians" while others started out as atheists and agnostics, Methodists, Baptists, Lutherans, or Catholics. We've lived here all our lives, like our parents and grandparents before us, or we've moved here as children or as adults. We prize our shared delight in worship and community here, we prize our individual uniquenesses and our commonalities. We find, in the Episcopal Church, that we are able to be different in some ways but still be one in Christ.

We are an inclusive community! All are welcome here!

We strongly believe that nothing can ever separate us from the Love of God in Christ Jesus, as Saint Paul said (Romans 8:38). We welcome all, whatever your past or present, to come and worship with us, to learn with us, to pray with us, and to grow with us!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Most of our liturgy comes straight out of the Book of Common Prayer and 1982 Hymnal of the Episcopal Church. We trace our liturgical roots to the early church and to Celtic and Scottish traditions. We makes extensive use of the Bible and preach from Scripture. Communion (Holy Eucharist or Mass) is celebrated weekly. Prayers are offered for members, the community, and the world. We offer healing prayer during communion, home visitations with or without communion, and pray for those in need.

What is the community like?
We are friendly, hospitable, and love to get together to eat and talk. We are as young as four months and as old as 90+. We are active in the community as individuals and as a church community. We have been an "incubator" for community-wide mission work, working with other local churches to offer assistance to those in need. We believe that God loves everyone, regardless of any mistakes. We believe in forgiveness. We believe in justice.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are not a Christian, you are still invited to join us for worship, or to meet with the priest with any questions or requests for assistance. Membership is not a requirement; belief is not a requirement. God's invitation extends to all.
