Hi Jeanette and Jeff,
Some good memories of Hermosa Baptist. Remember the Martin sisters, Teresa (violin) and Connie (flute)? And the Matthews siblings, Sherrie and David? And Wayne and his wife (can't recall her name) with the new baby? I recall, Jeanette, that we took Bible Lit at Highland High. Hope your life has turned out wonderfully.

Yes, this was Hermosa Baptist Church. I accepted the Jesus and was baptized there in 1968. Outstanding memories of music director Dr Finley and pastor Hubert Conway.

Did this church used to be Hermosa Baptist Church in the 1970s? I went to a church that was real close to Kirkland Air Force Base in 1974 and 1975, and was a member of the youth group. Beverly Kelting was our youth director when I started going there, and then Brent Warren was director for a couple of years. Brother Buie was the minister when I was there, his daughter, Billie, was one of my best friends.
