Rhett Sanders is the Organizing pastor of Blythewood Presbyterian Church. His fondest childhood memories are of Blythewood, SC, where he went to Blythewood Elementary School (now Blythewood Academy) and Bethel-Hanberry (when it was a Middle School). His dad ran a Christian camp off of Bass Road called Camp Agape.
Rhett is passionate about the advancement of the Gospel in our hearts and how that impacts the way we view and live our lives. The recurring question that he encourages us to wrestle with is, "How does the Gospel speak into THIS particular situation?” Rhett desires to see us thriving in the hope that comes from following Jesus Christ –and for that hope to overflow in loving well (both God and others).
Rhett's key ministry verse is 2 Kings 7:9
We're not doing right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves.
