What are services like?
Worship Gatherings are informal. We don’t dress up, so you don’t have to either. Unless you want to! If that’s your preference, then by all means please do! Just be yourself! Basileia Worship Gatherings meet on Sunday nights at 5pm. At a typical worship gathering we will hear the Scriptures taught, discuss them together, sing together in worship, pray with one another, celebrate communion, eat snacks, drink coffee, and fellowship with one another in conversation and laughter. Hybrid Format We currently employ a hybrid format for our worship gatherings. What we mean is, we have a time of teaching and singing as in a typical church service, but we also have a time of discussion and fellowship with one another. We sit around tables and we want people to feel welcomed and involved during worship. We want our gatherings to feel like a large living room.

What is the community like?
We like to hang out. Nearly every week we will go somewhere after our gatherings and fellowship with one another. We’d love to have you join us! We Believe All Christians are Missionaries. If you’re a follower of Jesus, then we believe you’re called to live a missional life. That is, you’re called to live for the good of other people by the words you speak and the lifestyle you live. You’re called to embrace the Gospel as the only message of salvation and as a way of life. If you’re a follower of Jesus, don’t be surprised if we encourage you obey His command to be a missionary. We love East Nashville. We haven’t been here long, but we do hope that the East Nashville community would miss us if we ever left. We exist for the good of our city.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We’re All Messed Up. If you’re looking for the perfect church, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a church that isn’t full of hypocrites, then this isn’t it. Not that we’re trying to be hypocrites, we’re definitely not! But honestly, we’re messed up people who deeply need the grace and salvation that only Jesus offers. We gather each week to remind one another of the good news of the Gospel. We Don’t Have it All Figured Out. We don’t have everything figured out, so you don’t have to either. We boldly believe everything that the Bible teaches, but you don’t have to agree with us in order to join us. If you’re still trying to figure some things out, please don’t be intimidated. We’d love to have you visit whether you agree with us or not.
