Greetings Ames Church Family, Janet and I are excited and looking forward to serving you and your families in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We hope to learn your names, recognize your faces, and hear your stories of life and faith. We also hope to lead you into a time of renewal and energize you into making disciples for Jesus Christ. We believe that more than ever before the Church needs bold and effective leaders to witness to and invite people to a relationship with Jesus. Together we can reach out to our neighbors in the Saginaw community and neighborhoods and be the hands, feet, eyes, ears, and voice of the “body of Christ” because we are redeemed by His love. Janet and I have been married for 36 years. We have three children; Christina married to Said, living in Cairo, Egypt, Joshua married to Tiffany and our grandsons Wesley and Graham, all living in Fort Lauderdale Florida, and Joel, living in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Christina and Said are expecting their first child and our first granddaughter in August! Both our parents, Ed and Pearl Ulrich and Don and Del Wichert are retired and live in Pigeon, Michigan in the thumb. As you can probably already tell, our family is a great blessing and being with and doing things together as a family is our favorite past time. For hobbies, Jan and I both enjoy boating and camping. We like to garden. I enjoy fishing and hunting and Jan enjoys baking and canning and is a fantastic cook. We are informal folks and invite you to stop by the parsonage anytime for a casual visit. Thank you for the opportunity to serve here as your pastor. Our prayer is that we may be a blessing for you, and you for us as well. Grace and peace be yours, Your brother and sister in Christ Jesus, Dave and Jan WichertLocation & Directions
