About Us
The Amelia Plantation Chapel is a fellowship serving Amelia Island residents and visitors from all over the United States and the world. The majority of our members are retired with children and grandchildren who love to visit. We also welcome visitors vacationing, attending conferences, playing sports or attending events in the area. The Chapel is designed to blend into the environment of oak and palmetto hammock, water and the surrounding golf course. The design enables light to fill the Chapel just as we want to be filled with the light and love of Christ. Worship combines a high quality of music, Word and Sacrament, based upon the Holy Scriptures, centered upon Jesus Christ, and guided by the Holy Spirit. We respect the traditions of all our represented denomina-tions. We desire to care for one another, and to encourage one another’s spiritual develop-ment and Christian discipleship. We invite you to join us in our exciting journey of faith.

Leadership
Dr. Ken Jones
Revered Dr. Ken Jones' dedication to Christian discipleship has fueled over four decades as Pastor, Pastoral Counselor, and fourteen years as a sworn law enforcement Deputy Sheriff and Lieutenant. A first responder to the Pentagon after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack. Lt. Jones was later commended for courageous service. Pastor of the Amelia Plantation Chapel since 2021, Pastor Jones' spiritual leadership resulted in his selection as Pastor of the Year by Nassau County, FL News-Leader readers. Dr. Jones has both a Master's degree and a doctorate in theological studies. Reflecting his decades of educational, professional and personal experiences, Pastor Jones' preaching provides deeply immersive analyses into the depths of Biblical truth. Ken has been married to his wife Pam for over forty years; they have three children and three grandchildren.Location & Directions
