About Us
Founded in 1921, the Allensville Church of the Brethren holds services on Sunday mornings. Join us for Sunday School at 10 am with Richard Cooper, and worship service at 11 am with Pastor Allan Green. Easter Service schedule differs (typically no SS; service at 9:15am). A laid-back vibe with down-to-earth members who love Jesus and their neighbors. Traditional hymns are sung. Please note for accessibility, there is a stone parking lot, but no steps to enter church or move about for services. Bathroom is on main level.

Charles R. Mauck and Michelle A. La Vigne were married here on November 17, 1985. I was seven (7) months pregnant.
Pastor Green we had our counselling at your home on your farm.
Our daughter Crystal was born on January 19 1986.
I remember your wife, she loved holding Crystal. She gave us little plaques for Crystal's room.
You welcomed us with open arms.
Hi uncle Rich. How is aunt Sharon doing? Oh how we miss aunt Twila.
The people here are humble, warm, welcoming, and loving.
I miss this little church.

I attend Allensville Church of the Brethren when I'm not traveling and consider it "my church." My great grandma and my Dad were baptized here, my aunt and I were both married here. I love the small size and proximity to home of this church. It has an older congregation, with many of the women wearing prayer caps. Folks dress casually, some in dresses and dress pants, others in nice jeans. They sing traditional hymns which I love because I grew up with them and know the words and tunes. Pastor Green gives a good, easy-to-understand sermon with good takeaways. The church family is very humble and kind. It feels like home.
