About Us

Intense, faith-filled, charismatic, Jesus-centered, small groups church

A church of about 100, with many children. Families are in their 30s. Military also present as are college, and career. Though a Southern Baptist church, we are the only small group, charismatic, Southern Baptist church in the WORLD. We have found no other. This uniqueness allows for an "Acts 2" experience in life.

Vibe: Casual, Down to Earth, Spirit-filled, Friendly, Progressive, Charismatic, Young families, Lots of kids

What to Expect

What are services like?
Lasting about an hour and a half, we have a good 35 to 40 minutes of praise and worship. Sometimes a prophetic word of encouragement or a spiritual gift will come. Sermons last about 30 to 35 minutes, with series like "Going through James", "Jesus Changes Everything", "The Basics of Acts 2", or similar plans for changing our lives in positive ways.

What is the community like?
We concentrate on small groups. Relationship, one with another, on Sundays and throughout the week are very important for us. Without the close-knit communion of fellowship, then how can we help one another?

What if I'm not a Christian?
Becoming a Christian needs to be a priority. Receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is paramount. See http://truelife.org for short videos on a wide range of subjects dealing with Christianity. Of course, you don't need to be cleaned up, and squeaky clean to worship at Acts 2 Church. We receive all, in any condition.
