Zion United Methodist Church (Gordonville)
About Us
Solid. Caring. Growing. Why not "Take Z to Zion"?
Welcome to Zion United Methodist Church, an outpost of God’s Kingdom here for God & Neighbor since 1847. Zion's founders were German immigrants who left behind the unrest that was mid-19th Century Germany found new lives and fruitful promise in Missouri. Fruitful promise is what Zion still offers everyone today.
Zion’s approach to the Christian Faith is traditional yet fresh – ready to welcome anyone truly home to new, abundant and eternal life in Jesus Christ. The people who come together as Zion Church invite everyone we meet to come along on our ongoing journey of discovering how God’s love – made crystal-clear in Jesus Christ – influences how we live, how we love, how we serve, and where we’re headed in life.
