My family has a very rich history at Zion Lutheran going back to the beginning of 1900. In the 1920's a beyond my Mom and all her siblings went to school there K-8 and Church. The beautiful, archived photos are available to see on Facebook and there is a Zion photo web page. The Congregation is struggling now, so very sad. They need members. They also have a rich and loving history in the neighborhood. A neighborhood that now could use more faith-based works and outreach to the community. My husband and I will be visiting them one Sunday coming up. I pray others take a chance and visit and become memebers. God Bless Zion Lutheran in Bridgeport.
