Word Worship Center is a loving, family church located in the bustling Dallas-Fort Worth community of Irving, TX. Founded in September 2011 by Pastors Erick and Nicole Matthews upon the scriptures John 1:1 and John 4:23, Word Worship Center wholeheartedly believes that it’s in our worship where GOD reveals a Rhema Word to His people. We passionately pursue GOD and the manifested glory of His presence during each worship service. And every time we gather, it is our expectation that GOD will speak a “right now” Word that cuts to the core of whatever we are presently experiencing with surgical precision.

As a body, we embrace the vision of our church in the form of an acronym for “W.O.R.D.”: Worship, Oneness, Relationship and Dominion. Word Worship Center’s mission is to train, equip and release into the work of the ministry those who partner with us. We believe that as our mission is fulfilled, then the “W.O.R.D.” vision will begin to manifest. Furthermore, our pastors are wholly committed to multicultural worship, powerful preaching, practical teaching, prophetic instruction; and promotion of unity, equality and love regardless of race, gender, age, class or denomination.

What are services like?
WORD Worship Center is a vibrant, Spirit-filled church. Expect multicultural worship, powerful preaching, practical teaching, prophetic instruction; and promotion of unity, equality and love regardless of race, gender, age, class or denomination. We welcome and embrace all people no matter their background, and our pastors look forward to personally meeting and greeting you as well as your family. If arriving before service starts at 10:00am, our church will be in Prayer & Consecration from 9:30am until Praise & Worship begins. We welcome you to join us as we intercede for those in need of prayer as well as set the atmosphere for worship. Feel free to assume your desired posture of prayer (ie kneeling, walking, sitting, etc) during this time of preparation for worship. The ministry of Praise & Worship at WORD Worship Center is designed to bring us all to the place where GOD continuously abides. Our music ministry team ushers the glory of GOD into the sanctuary, inviting us to elevate our spiritual antennas and catch Heaven’s frequency. Being part of the corporate Praise & Worship experience is important at WORD Worship Center because it prepares our hearts to receive the “right now” Rhema Word we believe GOD speaks when we gather. Children ages 4-12 are invited to worship with our Kingdom Kids during Saturday morning worship. Our enthusiastic team of children’s church workers love sharing the Word of GOD on a level that our youngest congregants can understand. If your children feel uncomfortable leaving the sanctuary to join the others, it is perfectly fine if they wish to remain with you for the duration of the worship service. When you visit WORD Worship Center, expect to receive the Word of GOD divinely inspired and rightly divided. We believe that GOD still speaks by His Spirit, and the messages He sends are exactly what needs to be heard when we need to hear it. GOD loves and cares for us just that much! Being a Christian is a choice, as much as not being one. Therefore, our pastors have established a culture at WORD Worship Center where all people, regardless of background are welcome to worship with us. We love people and strive to impact the lives of others by our love.
