Western Heritage Church

About Us

Everybody needs a church family.

Our vision is to be a Western Heritage Cowboy Church. Our mission is to share with others the life-changing grace of God.

We are a Cowboy Church. Now, that might sound a little different to you and what does that mean? Well, mostly it means that while our worship is a bit (OK, a lot) country-fied, we are accepting of everyone. Western Heritage is a place where you can wear your hat to church, or not. It's a place where your boots (and spurs) are acceptable. But, you don't have to be a cowboy to enjoy worshipping with us at Western Heritage.

Everybody needs a church family is our motto, and we mean it. We try to be very friendly. Why, we don't even have visitors, just first time friends. We really want to be your church family.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are full of vibrant worship, just done cowboy style. We have a worship band that plays and sings country and western style. Yet, our songs are a blend of old and new, and even a few we wrote ourselves. Hats, jeans, buckles, and boots are completely acceptable. But, so is any other style of dress. While we are definitely cowboy, you don't have to be in order to feel at home with us. But we do take our hats off for prayer.

What is the community like?
Western Heritage sprang from the hearts of folks that used to call themselves Faith Temple Baptist. In 2010, they felt God's calling to become a cowboy church in order to revitalize and grow the community of believers. We are a mix of several generations, old, young, and in between. Families, singles, and kids. Our body is close in spirit, but our hearts are wide and ready for new folks to come and join us as well.

What if I'm not a Christian?
It's perfectly alright if you are not a believer in Christ. At one time, all of us were at that same place. We hope through sharing the love of Christ and what He teaches that you will want to become part of the family of Christ. We do believe in the birth, life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We also believe that baptism by immersion is the public confession of faith in Christ and how they identify with his death, burial, and resurrection.
