Adult Bible Study Leader
We are so blessed to have Hedy lead our Adult Sunday School class. Presently we are doing this via Zoom. If you would like to join us please email at [email protected] Sunday at 9:30am to receive a link. What can you say about a Jewish girl from Brooklyn who at the age of 45, came to know that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior ? Blessed. That’s what you can say. Truly blessed. I am a retired nurse, I also worked in Christian radio for 7 years and now, by God’s calling, I am acting and have been given a “platform” to tell everyone I meet about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am hoping to get into Christian films, which seems more difficult than getting into the mainstream films. I’ve been married for 20+ years to my adorable husband, Peter. Children are David, age 52, Rob, age 40 and Mikey, age 37. The oldest and the youngest live in New York and my middle son lives in Kissimmee. Grandsons Benjamin and Daniel are ages 21 and 18. They live with their Mom and other Grandma in Palm Bay. I hope that the devil shudders every time I wake up, wondering what kind of trouble I’m going to create for him, today.
Pastor Spanish Ministry
We are so blessed to have Pastor Alma as part of our congregation. Pray for her as she develops a Spanish ministry in our church. Alma, born in Mexico in a small town in San Luis Potosí. Single mother of 2 children, Luis and Alondra. I came to the USA in 2005 where I met the greatest love, CHRIST JESUS, Converted in 2006 and baptized with my son, in 2007 when they arrived with me. I work in Construction where I met my husband, Michael, whom I married in 2009. I started studying at CEMH in South Florida, where I graduated in 2019. I wait patiently for my Ordination, when God arranges it, I thank God for the joy of being able to serve Him. Today more than ever I believe that you are a God of Mercy, because you bless our lives with a new being, my granddaughter Mons, who has come to give us a light of Victory. Dear Father, I give you my life in service, because You deserve everything, I know that the call is from you, and I have answered, my life and my family are in Your hands. Thank you for my children, for my husband whom I love and bless on your behalf. I know that my walk has not been easy, but if You are with me, I cling to your Word of life with promise, which infuses me with Peace and Hope of eternal life at Your side. Servant of Jesus Christ … Alma Delia Cruz Martinez.
Minister of Music
Esther leads us in worship from the piano, and from time to time provides special music on the concert harp. Esther, a native Floridian, growing up in a Nazarene parsonage, became a Christian and felt a call to ministry at a very early age. She attended Eastern Nazarene College, and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in harp and piano. She taught Music in School in Newfoundland, and has since had a career in performing. She was privileged to have played for the Economic World Leaders’ Spouses at the G7 Summit in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She has performed for President and Mrs. Donald Trump, President and Mrs. William Clinton, President and Mrs. H.W. Bush, and for HRH Prince Edward. She has performed on CBC National Television in Canada, and on WPBS in Upstate New York, and around the world on Celebrity Cruises and currently performs for corporate and social events in South Florida. But what Esther enjoys most is playing hymns and worship songs that express her devotion to God.
