I was raised in this church under Pastor Willie Allen, who is the father of Pastor Vincent Allen. It would be wonderful to visit again. Although I no longer live in the area, I would love to stop by and see Pastor Vincent Allen if I’m ever nearby. He might not remember me since he was a teenager and I was just a kid, but he should remember my brother and sister, as they are around his age. You know, as you get older, you often want to return to places that remind you of the good old days. I am still praising the Lord and can't live without Him. My roots began at Upper Room Baptist Church, and I am grateful for that.
