About Us
Silicon Valley shouldn't feel this lonely. UAMEZ Church is a Palo Alto church for families, students, and Gen Z, and here no one walks alone. We are a historically Black, multicultural church in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion (A.M.E. Zion) tradition since 1918. Sunday worship is at 10:00 AM at 3549 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, and runs about 90 minutes, in person and live streamed. Amazing Kids children's ministry meets during the service for kindergarten through sixth grade. Small groups meet during the week. Parking is free, the entrance is step free, and there are five accessible spaces. In 2026 the National Trust for Historic Preservation named UAMEZ a Preserving Black Churches grantee.
