Leadership
John Allen T. Bankson
Pastor
John Allen was ordained in 1996 and has pastored Presbyterian churches in Mississippi and Louisiana, and immediately before coming to Fort Madison was Director of Music Ministries at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Birmingham, Alabama. In addition to being a Presbyterian minister, he is also a conductor, composer/arranger, pianist, and singer, and a Certified Church Musician with the Presbyterian Churches. In his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, John Allen was active in the musical theatre community as both a music director and as an actor.
