Leadership
CeCe McCall-McCoo
Pastor CeCe McCall-McCoo embraces the challenges and opportunity to serve the community and the congregation of True Fellowship Church, Madison, IL. With a passion for God’s people, a strong sensitivity to the Spirit of God, and the ability to flow in the spirit of excellence, she has blessed many churches, ministries, and prisons around the country and abroad. Accepting her call to the mission field, Pastor CeCe has served in Uganda, Kenya, Nairobi, Puerto Rico, Amsterdam, Brazil, and Japan. In addition to serving in the local church, Pastor CeCe has served with Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Prison Ministry and as Missouri State Director of Evangelism, Missouri State Administrator, and as a member of the International Evangelism Team, Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International under the vision of Bishop Paul S. Morton Sr. Forever a student, ‘I’ll probably be in a classroom until I transition. I love classroom learning’, Pastor McCall-McCoo studied Mass Communications at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Edwardsville, IL where she became a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She’s a graduate of St. Louis Christian College and is currently pursing a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling at Missouri Baptist University. She is also a very proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Professionally, her love for and gift of administration has afforded her opportunities to strengthen the administrative and fiscal management of several non profit organizations in the St. Louis region. Additionally, her recent appointment as Chaplain for the Berkeley Police Department further endorses her commitment to enhance and support positive community engagement. Pastor McCall-McCoo is the wife of Lawrence D. McCoo, who she says ‘has surprised her with uncompromising love and enhances her with his faith in the God in her’. She is inspired by the lives, leadership, labor, works, writings, and teachings of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Dr. Maya Angelou, Pastor Jackie McCullough, Dr. Cornell West, Dr. John Maxwell, Dr. Bill Hamon, Krish Dhanam, and Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu. Marine! Minister! It’s motherhood that brings her the greatest joy. She describes her son, Jaison Kristopher Desmond, as her greatest inspiration. Their family motto is, “Our family lives by faith and in the favor of God.” She enjoys reading, movies, shopping, international travels, the hugs and smiles of children, and a good game of Scrabble.Location & Directions
