What are services like?
People gather before the service for coffee and fellowship in the Gathering Place. We move to the worship side about 9:05, taking our coffee with us. Worship begins with uplifting contemporary songs, specifically chosen for the day,s Bible lessons (we use the common lectionary). Everybody takes part in the singing lead by the Praise Team. The words to the songs are up on the screen in the worship area. All of the service is on the screen, so there are no books or papers to fumble through. We greet each other after the first two songs. Bible lessons are read. The pastor also has points to his sermon on the screen so it is easier to follow along. Sermons are informative and give ways to apply God's Word to our lives. Communion is by intinction, dipping the bread in the wine. We close with joyful music.

What is the community like?
We are a storefront church, right next to the Subway. Our group is presently small, about 20, and we welcome all visitors enthusiastically, with a sincere hope that they will join us weekly and become one with us. We are new to this community and are still looking for ways to serve other and offer learning opportunities to know the Lord. All are welcome to join us.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You will find it easy to worship with us. It is casual and the service is on the screen. If you would feel more comfortable on the couch in the Gathering Place, you can follow the service on the screen in that area. Beginners Bible study starts Wednesday, September 17, 7:00 - 8:00 pm. This is lead by members of the congregation, using material from our Lutheran publishing company. Please join us!
