About Us

We are one of Fort Wayne's oldest churches, worshipping in a space completed in 1865. Trinity is known for its love of the arts. We have an active outreach committee and have adopted Nebraska Elementary as our neighborhood school. We partner with Wellspring for their Summer Camp for City Kids, the Interfaith Hospitality shelter for homeless families and Blessings in a Backpack with Associated Churches. See our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter. And be sure to walk our portable labyrinth the first Thursday of every month between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. A new outdoor labyrinth is now available on the corner of Berry and Broadway.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Episcopalians sit to hear scripture, stand to sing and kneel or stand to pray. Our service is from the Book of Common Prayer, which you'll find in the pews, but it's also printed out in the bulletin. Our early service on Sunday, Friday morning's Eucharist (or communion service) and Wednesday Evening Prayer don't have music, but at 10 a.m. on Sunday our organist pulls all the stops out--that 's musical talk for he really knows how to play a pipe organ!

What is the community like?
We're a diverse bunch with members in their 90's and children under the age of 1….with a lot of people in between. Many of us are avid readers, love the arts, drink coffee or tea and we're known for our donuts after church! Christian Formation (Sunday School) is available for all ages. We just completed a massive restoration of our pipe organ AND have added a new outdoor labyrinth on the corner of Berry and Broadway Streets.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You're still welcome!
