Transcend exists in the city of Harrisburg as a community of people who study the Bible, worship together, and see to be impact disciples for Christ. We are a church who seeks to live outside the walls of the church participating in the community where we're found.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services at Transcend are casual yet with a serious approach to the study of the Word of God. We worship Sunday mornings at 10:45am. Children (the youngest) are checked into either a preschool classroom or nursery. Older children are in "the Red Room" they move through a curriculum shared with preschool, but each moving through the Bible stories learning truth on their levels. Jr. High and High School age children are in the service - this is part of our philosophy of ministry; we want children to own their faith and identify with the body. Services are centered around the worship and study of the word. They're casual in style and reverent and God seeking in content.

What is the community like?
The church community is central to the church. At Transcend we have groups that meet thought the week. We frequently share meals together at the church, at local restaurants, and at the Church building. The community is amazingly open, accepting, and interested in meeting you. Also, you'll NOT be called out as new or visiting, our intent is that you have a comfortable environment to worship, learn, explore, and connect.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Our Pastor John would love to answer (in a non threatening non condescending way) any and every question you may have. We'd love to get to know you, and begin studying through the Bible together!
