Leadership

Joe Jaworski

Joe grew up in Cleveland, OH. His parents were divorced when he was four, and he spent much of his young life going between his parents’ houses at opposite corners of Slavic Village. As a teen he encountered Christ at a retreat ministry and became a peer counselor at these retreat weekends. It was on one of these weekends where he met his wife Judy. Both have been active in lay ministry ever since. After Joe returned the Army, Joe and Judy moved into Joe’s dad’s old house. They developed an increasing desire to reach their neighborhood with the gospel. Eventually this led to starting Village, a community that crosses cultures and races at the foot of the cross. Joe and Judy live in Cleveland with their four incredible children: Lydia, Joe, Stephen, and Philip. Joe enjoys ripping off licks on the bass guitar and playing World of Warcraft.
