Leadership

Michael Chuppe

Pastor Michael Chuppe came to God in 1984 after being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 27. He asked his wife to call Pastor David Walters and request that he come and pray for a healing. While being prayed for he felt a warm feeling like warm oil being poured over his head and it continued down his whole body. At that moment the Lord graciously healed Pastor Chuppe and he has been cancer free to this day. Pastor Michael Chuppe has pastored at The Sanctuary in Bismarck since March of 2007. He, along with his wife Shirley, previously pastored in Grafton, ND for 7 years. Before pastoring in Grafton, Pastor Chuppe served as the Assistant Pastor at The Sanctuary in Bismarck. He has served as the secretary of the North Dakota UPC District Sunday School Department for 3 years, director of the North Dakota UPC District Sunday School Department for 10 years and is currently the North Dakota Global Missions Director for the United Pentecostal Church International. Pastor and Sis. Chuppe will celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary this year. They have 4 daughters, 4 grandchildren and love spending time with their family.
