The Presbyterian Church, Sewickley
Who We Are
Thank you for your interest in the Presbyterian Church, Sewickley. Please know that you and your family are welcome to come and share the presence of God with us at anytime. The members of TPCS proclaim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are a mission focused church with a heart for our community.
We are a traditional, biblically based church. Our worship is inspirational and we offer a wide variety of musical ensembles. Our Pastor, Kevin Long, has a passion for reaching out to the congregation through God's word and our ministerial staff feels called to reach a lost and hurting world for Christ and to share His word through fellowship, study and missions.
- 08:00am - A traditional worship service that includes the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper each week in the Chapel.
- 09:00am - Gather for a casual atmosphere with a mixture of music. We partake in Communion on the first Sunday of the month.
- 11:00am - A traditional worship service including prayer, our favorite hymns, a children’s conversation and participation of the Chancel Choir. Communion is observed on the first Sunday of the month.
Kevin grew up in the tradition of the Presbyterian Church as the son of a Presbyterian minister. He was raised in Southern California and in Murrysville, PA, just east of Pittsburgh. He graduated from Wake Forest University, double majoring in biology and psychology. After pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at Old Dominion University, Kevin moved to New York City where he worked for a number of years as a private tutor. Kevin responded to the call to ministry and received his M.Div. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. After graduating, he served as an Associate Pastor at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis before becoming the Pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Sewickley in September of 2011.
