Everything we do at the encounter revolves around these two statements. We bring the experience of God’s incredible grace to each individual, thru offering a redemptive community; and we work diligently to expand God’s glory. On Sunday am’s at 10:06 we offer people an encounter with the grace of God thru energetic and reflective worship, and a challenge. God’s full acceptance is for people who have fallen desperately short. Yet God stands with open arms for those who simply repent and agree to accept His grace. Then, as people who have experienced transformation, we endeavor to expand the glory of God by living consistent lives and partner with God in impacting our community! We believe firmly in putting our ‘money where our mouth is.’ Each month (1st Things 1st) we actually set our time aside to serve our community. This is an exciting and growing aspect of the encounter… This is who we are

What to Expect

What are services like?
We could throw out words like casual, loose, relevant, and modern but doesn't everybody. Our services are all of those but we mix things up every week so that we do not fall into a routine rather then expect God to show up and do something unique in us. Our Pastor speaks about daily life issues from a biblical stand point and how we can become more like Jesus in those struggles.

What is the community like?
We are a motley crew of people who have failed miserably and encountered a God who loves and redeems us anyway. We strive to love others the way Jesus loved us unconditionally.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you have been burned by church we are a place worth checking out because most of us have been burned by the institutional church at some point and are trying to follow the Jesus of the Bible.

I grew up in a pastors family and had many diverse 'God experiences.' My wife RaeJean and I have been married for over 25 years and enjoy watching our 3 adult kids grow in Christ and find their ministry niches. We want to be real people w/ real problems discovering real solutions
