The Creek Church is a young Church Plant that is passionate about the Gospel. We focus on Jesus and teach the Scriptures with conviction and enthusiasm. Our mission is to exalt Jesus, equip believers, and engage the world.

What are services like?

Our worship is energetic and passionate and we take it seriously at The Creek. Our desire it to invite you to worship Jesus together as the Bride of Christ and to encourage you to be on mission all week long!

What is the community like?

You can expect a group of loving, welcoming, people and a relaxed atmosphere for the entire family. We believe in community and our Huddle Groups meet in homes throughout the year to help us build relationships with each other and our community.

Matt  Rice

Matt Rice

Matt grew up in South Windsor, Connecticut. He went to college at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. He graduated in 1994 with a BS in Business Administration and Sociology. He met Dana while at GWU and they married in 1996. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Pharmacy degree in 1996. Matt graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with his masters 1999 and doctorate 2005. Matt and Dana have 4 kids: Andrew, Mollie, Luke and Jake. Matt and Dana love family time, church softball, playing sports and coaching kids in sports. Matt and Dana love 24, The Bourne Trilogy and family time.
