While Presbyterian in Governance (Rule by Elders) and Theology (See John Calvin and John Knox), we are a Community orientated congregation which is seeking to be GENUINE in our relationships with ONE ANOTHER and BIBLICALLY FAITHFUL in our walk with CHRIST.

We use a blended worship experience, incorporating the Great Hymns of our past and the Contemporary Music of today. Preaching is Biblically Centered with the emphasis on application to everyday life.

What to Expect

What are services like?
A blend of traditional and contemporary elements. The tone is reverent yet joyful and people are free to worship in a way most comfortable to them, whether it be kneeling, lifting hands or simply sitting quietly.

What is the community like?
Multi-generational congregation which is friendly but also respects where each individual is at in their journey. Some want to build close friendships right away while others simply need a place to worship and not become too involved at the beginning. We seek to honor both. We seek to incorporate Biblical Truth into our life. While we will not compromise the clear teachings of Scripture, we do seek to live that Truth out in gentleness.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Give us a try! Most importantly, we encourage you to read the Gospel of John and see who Jesus is for yourself. We will be happy to try to answer your questions in a non-threatening, respectful manner.

Leadership

Edward Cummings

Pastor Ed has 25 years of Professional Ministry experience. His Education includes an M.Div. from Western Evangelical Seminary and D.Min. from Trinity Theological Seminary (Please don't call him "Dr. Cummings" though). He has also presented at Oxford, England as part of the Oxford Roundtable. He has been at Terrace Heights EPC since May of 2006.
