Rev. Raymond L. Webb is the founding Pastor of Temple Builders Community Church of Laguna Hills (TBCC). Pastor Webb was born in Tallulah, Louisiana and raised in the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area. Before preparing him to serve in the ministry, God blessed him to graduate with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a BS degree in Management. Pastor Webb is a graduate of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received his Masters of Divinity degree, and is also currently completing his Doctor of Divinity Degree at the Golden Gate Mill Valley Campus. Pastor Webb married his high school sweetheart Janet, and together they have been blessed to raise three adult sons, Raymond II, Randall, and Jarrett.
Pastor Webb grew in experience during his tenure at Friendship Baptist Church (Yorba Linda), where he served as President of the Ministers Association, Chairman of the Trustee Ministry, Executive Director of the Friendship Development Foundation, founder of the Outreach Ministry, and served on the Pastoral Staff as Minister of Outreach for four years. Having a heart for the youth, Pastor Webb also co-founded and chaired the Scholarship & Academic Excellence Program

Pastor Webb, who was Ordained in March 2004, also received a Prison Fellowship Ministries Award, for his dedicated service in Prison Ministry at Chino’s East Yard Facility and his committed leadership to Prison Aftercare Ministry. At TBCC he and his wife Janet minister each year to the children of inmates, by giving leadership and serving in the “Angel Tree” gift giving ministry during the holidays
Because of his heartfelt efforts to “reach out” to positively impact the lives of others, Pastor Webb was awarded the Orange County NAACP Citizen of Distinction Award for Religion.
An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Webb has been a featured speaker for various Men’s Conferences, the Annual Atherton Baptist Church Building Strong Marriages Conference, the New Spirit Baptist Church Men’s Day, and as a guest speaker on the PBS TV show “Family Issues: A Biblical Perspective.”
“Our Pastor is currently focused on reaching out to Young Adults and meeting their unique church needs at TBCC. Pastor Webb believes that Young Adults are a big part of the future of TBCC. Moreover, Pastor Webb is actively fund-raising on behalf of returning Veterans, as he truly desires to see TBCC minister to their special re-entry needs.”
