We are a growing congregation of about 80 located in Coffee County Tennessee. We have vibrant Sunday School classes for all ages that meet on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. We also have many outreach events and mission activities we are engaged in. We would love to have you become a part of our family at Summitville UMC!

What to Expect

What are services like?
We have one service currently at 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We are a very laid back church (suits and ties are not expected!). Our service begins with announcements then goes into song/lighting of candles, prayer requests, song, offering/doxology, children's moment, sermon, and communion on the first Sunday of the month. All of the words to our songs are projected on a wall at the front of the church.

What is the community like?
The church community is made up of friendly people who look out for each other and take care of those in church and those who have never come to church before. The people are Spirit-filled and desire to grow closer in their relationships with God by carrying out the message of the Gospel. Being a part of our church is like being a part of a big family.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We are a church filled with many people who are just beginning their Christian walk. Our church loves people from all backgrounds and seeks to help you have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
