The Gospel
The gospel is the good news that God has acted in history to conquer evil, redeem His fallen creation, and reconcile hopeless sinners to Himself through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel to the Glory of God
The sciptures teach us that the glory of God is the manifestation of the overwhelming greatness God’s holy nature.
When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the LORD on the temple, they bowed down with their faces to the ground on the pavement and worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.” (II Chronicles 7:3)

The scriptures teach us that God has most fully revealed His glory in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. (II Thess 2:14)
We are a church that seeks to honor and reveal the greatness of majestic and holy God.
We are a church that is full of broken and sinful people who are daily in need of the grace and truth of Jesus Christ.
We are a church that believes we are completely acceptable before God not by our work but by Christ's work.

Together in the Gospel
The scriptures teach us that the gospel rescues us to the body of Christ to encourage and care for one another through the power of the gospel.
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together ... (Hebrews 10:24-25)
We believe that "church" is something we are (the body of Christ - holy in Christ), not just something we do.
We are a church that is learning to radically serve, love, and forgive one another because we are grasping how radically we have been served, loved, and forgiven by God in Christ.

Together for the Gospel
The scriptures teach us that the gospel rescues us to participate in God's mission on this earth.
We are a church that is learning to live a life of mission for the gospel, and not just go on mission trips.
We are a church that is learning to see through God's eyes - that every person as valuable and honored by God.
We are a church that seeks to give mercy and help to those in need because we have been given great mercy and help by God.
