Repeated requests continue to be made to Faith Street, asking for information to be corrected on its listing of our beloved Chapel. Strawberry Chapel is NOT associated with the Episcopal Diocese, so Faith Streets’s listing of our Chapel is inaccurate. Our Chapel, built in 1725, has weathered many storms, vandalism, and world changes, but it’s dedicated Elders continue to protect and preserve it. The grounds and Chapel are only open to the public during its four-annual services, maintenance days, or during a special planned tour.

6 individuals were seen inside Strawberry Chapel’s fenced property; one photo showed the group walking near chapel; another photo showed same group in a historic walled family plot; major damage occurred to a number of historic gravestones. We won’t provide details because it’s an ongoing investigation.
We ask everyone to keep an eye on social media regarding post mentioning Strawberry Chapel. The vestry is working closely with Major Hickman and P.F.C Kufen at the BCSO.
