"Jesus is Lord and I'm just me!" I am known throughout the community as Pastor Greg, or "PG". I have an awesome wife with three wonderful children and an awesome church family! My focus is relationship over religion and deliverance over denomination! I believe strongly in the sanctity of life, and the sanctity of marriage as well as the sanctity of the family values according to God's Holy and inerrant Word! I am an honors graduate with a Bachelor's, Masters, and Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary. I wasn't looking for a Baptist Church when I came to Stono. I was looking for a church home that cared about the community. I sure found it at Stono. We aren't just about Sunday mornings, although worship is awesome! We share the love of Christ with one another and the Sea Islands through multiple ministries, outreach events, mission housing and more. If you want to be part of a church family, and not just attend church Sunday morning, this is the church home for you. I love the diversity and the warmth of my church along with a desire to live out the truth of God's Word. Whatever God has called you to do for the Kingdom, you will find a way to serve Him at Stono Baptist. We'd love to have you join us! "God is great and He's better than that!"

When my husband and I moved to the Charleston area, we started "church hopping" in order to find a church that really preached the "Word of God". We visited many churches and heard lots of good sermons. But, there is something different about Stono Baptist. Pastor Greg not only preaches the Word......he lives and breathes the Word! His passion for serving God and leading people to a true relationship with Jesus Christ is very evident. Jesus said, "If you love me, feed my sheep" and that's just what Pastor Greg is doing with his life. Come to Stono Baptist and "be fed".

As a newcomer on Johns Island, I was searching for a church to attend. I visited several churchs, but when I attended Stono Baptist I knew I had found my new church home.
The people are friendly, down to earth and Pastor Greg is like Billy Graham! The other thing I really love about Stono Baptist is how active they are in servicing the needs of the community.
