About Us
Who are we? We are a faith community of God's people. We were organized in 1822 by pioneer missionaries from Connecticut. For 190 years, we have gathered to worship the Triune God...our Creator, our Savior, and our Sustainer...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We endeavor to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Missions - both local and global - are a vital part of our life together.
What do we believe? With the Church Universal, we proclaim, "Jesus Christ is Lord." We search diligently the Old and New Testaments for the Word of God because there is yet more light and truth to break forth from God's Holy Word. We celebrate two Sacraments: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We uphold the priesthood of all believers: all Christians are called by God to minister to others. God calls us to live with all people everywhere as our neighbors. In essentials unity, in nonessentials diversity, in all things charity.
