About Us
St. Thomas More Newman Center is a university parish of 900 families and provides sacramental and spiritual ministry to thousands of college students at the University of Missouri, Stephen’s College, and Columbia College. We are a multi-generational parish. We are a vibrant Catholic faith community where students, faculty, and residents join together to sacramentally celebrate and live the Catholic faith.
We embrace Jesus Christ as our source and seek the Way, the Truth, and the Life in all we do. We are called to be a living Church of disciples who witness to gospel values as we sanctify, teach, guide, evangelize, and serve.
We recognize our distinguishing call to be a presence on campus and to make distinctive Catholic contributions to higher education. In collaboration with Catholic faculty and staff, the collegiate community in Columbia, alumni, and parents, we are committed to empowering one another to integrate our faith with our personal and professional lives in order to impact our society.

What to Expect
Leadership
Fr. Thomas Saucier, O.P.
Fr. Thomas Saucier, O.P. has served as the Pastor of St. Thomas More since the summer of 2006. He is a Dominican Friar of the Province of St. Albert the Great. He made his First Profession to the Order of Preachers on August 19, 1990; and was Ordained a Catholic Priest on May 12, 1996. Prior to his service as Pastor of St. Thomas More, Fr. Thomas was a teacher at Fenwick Catholic High School in Oak Park, Illinois which is operated by the Dominican Friars.Location & Directions
