Who We Are

St. Stephen’s is called to be a place where all God’s people enjoy and value each other. Through liturgy, education, fellowship and mutual support, we discover the biblical story revealed in our lives and extend that by faith and example to the community.

Leadership

David Perdue

My wife Donna and I are both natives of Duncan, Oklahoma. We are the proud parents of two adult children, a daughter and a son, and six wonderful grandchildren. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 1972 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy degree. Following graduation, I practiced pharmacy in our hometown for thirty-three years and was co-owner of three pharmacies. Donna was a wife, mother and business woman in her own right, owning and operating her own business. I earned my Masters of Divinity from The Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest, now called Southwest Seminary, in Austin, Texas in May of 2008. I was appointed Vicar of The Church of the Holy Cross in Owasso, Oklahoma, where I served two years before my call as Rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Our years here have been an abundant blessing of God. I hope you will visit our great parish and allow us to welcome you and share the love Christ with you as only St. Stephen’s can.
