St. Paul A.M.E. Church

Who We Are

Saving souls and building stronger Christian lives, one person at a time

Located near downtown Canton, St. Paul is a diverse church that welcomes everyone. Listen to these personal testimonies about us.

"I feel accepted here. I don't feel judged. I know I am loved when I come into this church."

"{We] have visited many churches since January. Some wealthy, some not so wealthy, some conservative, some progressive and even liberal. Some have laser lights and fog machines, one had music that was all accapella! Of all the congregations we’ve visited, so far St. Pau AME has surpassed every one of them in hospitality, thankfulness to God, and true worship. These are not empty words and they are not words meant to puff up, it’s simply an observation on my part. I know you work hard and you have your struggles, but . . . you’ve got the whole package. It’s not the size of the congregation, it’s the size of the heart."

"Each time I come through the doors of St. Paul, I feel the love. That's why I'm still here--this is a very loving church."
