St. Matthew's Episcopal Church
Welcoming, Open, Gospel Oriented, Faithful, Happy, Loving, Authentic.
About Us
St. Matthew's has recently built the "Greenist Church in the Valley". The new church has been designed so that the entire facility can be used during the day without turning on a light switch. The exterior of the church is covered with an additional 2 inch layer of insulation for reduction of heating and cooling.
St. Matthew's has reached out to the local community by allowing its facility to host: Family Therapy of Albuquerque; Women's AA, PFLAG, Valencia Civitan Club, Children's Theater, and even Piano Recitals.
St. Matthew's is very involved with Prison Ministry and is hosting a statewide Prison Ministry Workshop/Fair to be held on June 8th, 2013. The church has also participated in Angel Tree for several years.
We have been very involved in supporting The Blessed Mustard Seed Babies Home in Hoima, Uganda.
When you come to be a part of us you will learn that, "We are here for the people who do not yet belong to the Body of Christ."
