About Us

St. Margaret's Episcopal Church is a community of faith: Seeking, Serving and Sharing. We are a small but vibrant congregation on the border of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and our parishioners come from many surrounding areas. Everyone, including newcomers, inquirers interested in exploring their faith, and all looking to restore or renew their faith are always welcome. Our grounds contain the beautiful St. Margaret's Cemetery, which is open to all Christians.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We use the Book of Common Prayer, the 1982 Hymnal and a modern song book. Holy Eucharist (Communion) is celebrated weekly. Coffee hour and other activities follow the 10 am service. Handicapped Accessible areas: Church building; Parking spaces; Lift chair to lower level; Bathrooms on lower level.

What is the community like?
Warm, welcoming, multigenerational, inclusive, with a focus on the outward community. We are active in our interfaith community and provide regular outreach to local and international areas. There is a beautiful and active cemetery on church grounds.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are always welcome to visit and explore your faith at St. Margaret's. God understand prayers in every language!

Mother Christina joined St. Margaret's Church on September 1, 2022. Her 2-year term is focused on worship, spiritual renewal and creating new ways of engaging our neighbors, our community, and providing prayer, hope and help to a hurting world.
