What to Expect

What are services like?
Worship at St. Margaret's is grounded in the rich tradition of the Episcopal Church and the Book of Common Prayer. The liturgies are traditional and reverent, but the language of our prayer is contemporary and relevant. The 8;00 a.m. service on Sunday mornings is a quiet and intimate service of Holy Communion, without music. At 10:30, with a larger crowd gathered, we have music led by organ and choir. Children are always welcome in worship here.

What is the community like?
St. Margaret's is a friendly and youthful community. Founded in 1991, the community quickly grew strong and built our current building in West Little Rock in 1996. Though we have grown into a vibrant community, we still have the exciting sense that we are a young church - discovering what God will call us to do in our neighborhood and in our city. There is a strong emphasis here on Adult Christian Formation - we have the Institute for Theological Studies at St. Margaret's. We are also proud to be a part of the Arkansas House of Prayer - a place where people of all faiths are invited to take time for silent prayer.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Whether you are a person of a different faith, or no faith at all, you are invited to accompany us on our spiritual journey. If you want to know more about what we believe, this is a good place to start: http://www.stmargaretschurch.org/believe/index.html
