Saint Katherine Orthodox Church
Ancient Christianity practiced in today's world. Come and See!
About Us
We are Orthodox Christians with a 2,000 year old documented and spiritual history connecting us directly to Jesus Christ and His Apostles, and the gates of Hell have not prevailed against our worldwide Church or Faith. We keep to the same ancient form of worship passed down from the Apostles of Jesus Christ through the last 2,000 years via their successors in what is known world-wide as the Orthodox Church. What you will find at our church is a sincere, deep, and humble desire to worship God (the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit) the same way as is described throughout the Bible. We teach that salvation is a life long process; prepare to work for it. There is no checklist; there is only God's perfect judgement. We strive in every moment of everyday to repent from all forms of a sin, known and unknown. We make every attempt to purely and humbly love the Lord our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our strength, and with all our mind; and our neighbor as ourselves.

Leadership
Rev. Anthony Bryant
Our Priest, Rev. Anthony Bryant, began his journey into Holy Orders back in 2002. He became a Priest in 2006, and now serves as the Rector ("Pastor") of Saint Katherine's. He and his wife, Mary, have been married since 1996 and they have two children. They believe very strongly in supporting the homeschool community, and have started a ministry for all of South Carolina (www.alliancehomeschool.org). Fr. Anthony works a full time secular job as a Sr. Project Manager, which provides for his family's material needs and financially supports the church. He also teaches college part time on subjects such as Project Management, Information Systems, and Business Management. He holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems, which support his secular employment and the administration of our church.Location & Directions
