Pastor Larisa Harris is the Senior Pastor of St. John Evangelical Christian Church, which is located in the Phoebus section of Hampton, Virginia. Pastor Harris has led the church for the last 6 years of its 46 plus years of existence. Pastor Harris was called to preach in 2008 and ordained and licensed in September 2009. She served in various ministries, such as Youth Department, Musicians Department, Pastor Aide, Kitchen Committee and Finance and Operations department.
Pastor Harris is the Director of Accounting for a local public-school system. Her educational background consists of a Bachelor's in Accounting and she is near completion of a Master's in Public Administration. She also has certificates for various biblical courses completed.
Pastor Harris is the mother of 3 young men, ages 13, 16 and 21, whom she holds dear to her heart.
