At St. James United Methodist Church, we are called to reach beyond the "walls" of our church, into the community to bear witness to our faith. Through bible study, prayer, training and preparation we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to love, serve, teach and preach the gospel message; sharing the promise of God's grace and salvation for others and ourselves, as we make disciples for Jesus Christ.

Willie F. Smith
Rev. Willie F Smith current pastor is married to Dianne L.Jefferson-Smith for 30 years. Two children and five grandchildren. Pastor Smith recieved his Masters Degree in Theology from Methodist Theological School in Ohio and is current working on his Doctoral Degree in Ministry at the Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit Michigam. Pastor Smith is a native Detroiter. Born raised and educated in Detroit Mich.Location & Directions
