St. James Anglican Church
Traditional Faith in a Contemporary World
About Us
St. James is an Anglican Church and part of the Anglican Church in North America. Anglicanism is one way of being a Christian. It is an ancient way of living out a Christian faith that stresses the authority of Scripture, the best use of our intellect, and an openness to unexpected questions. Anglicanism brings together ancient patterns of Christian living and worship with the challenges we all face in a modern world.

What to Expect
Leadership
Ed McNeill
Our Senior Pastor is Ed McNeill. You can call him Ed, or Fr. Ed, or anything else you are comfortable with. Ed was ordained in 1986 and has served as a Senior Pastor in Alberta, Canada and here in California. He is a graduate of Nashotah House in Wisconsin. In the Anglican Church a Sr. Pastor is usually called a Rector. Ed is our principle vision caster, leader, and preacher. He works with our Vestry (our governing board) to discern God's will for St. James. Ed is a good preacher. He is occasionally funny. He is faithful. If he says he is going to pray for you he will.Location & Directions
