Julia Byrd-HarrisI am 78 yrs old. I started school at the age of 4 years old at St. James A. M. E. church. At that time most African American churches in the south used their sanctuary as classrooms. I will always remember St. James and the Cobbs family that lived next door. Clifford Cobbs became a noted photographer with Ebony magazine
